Island CERTS Corp. utilizes PAUT for weld Inspection and crack detection, and is mainly geared for works in power plants, petrochemical plants, pipeline construction and maintenance, and structural metals. PAUT is most effective in revealing defects that are hidden inside welds or structures.

The application of PAUT is much faster to implement as compared to conventional UT, more accurate results are obtained, all data are digitally stored, and much more safer as this technique do not apply x-rays and gamma rays.
