At Island CERTS Corporation, we don’t just treat safety as a requirement. For us, it’s a mindset that shapes everything we do. Across Guam and Saipan, we offer a wide range of OSHA-compliant training programs that help operators, supervisors, and field workers perform their jobs with greater confidence and care.

Our goal is simple: make sure every worker goes home safe at the end of the day.

Crane Safety and NCCCO Certification

Working with cranes isn’t just about knowing the controls. It’s about understanding the risks, the safety protocols, and the standards that keep everyone on the job site protected. That’s why we offer a four-day NCCCO Crane Operator Certification prep course.

This training is built around the latest ASME and ANSI guidelines, along with OSHA 1926 Subpart CC. We go over how to read load charts, use range diagrams, and apply safe rigging practices. Once training is complete, candidates are well-prepared to take the written and practical exams needed to earn national certification.

We are proud to support and prepare professionals for the official NCCCO certification process.

Understanding Chemical Safety with Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)

Hazardous chemicals are common in many workplaces, but they don’t have to be dangerous. The key is proper communication and training. That’s where OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard comes in.

We provide in-depth HazCom training that follows the Globally Harmonized System, or GHS. Employees learn how to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS), understand labeling systems, and handle chemicals safely and responsibly. This kind of awareness doesn’t just protect workers it protects entire operations from costly accidents and violations.

HAZWOPER Training: Be Ready for the Unexpected

Dealing with hazardous waste or emergency spills requires specialized knowledge. Our HAZWOPER training covers exactly that. Whether you're taking the 24-hour or 40-hour course, you'll gain a clear understanding of how to respond to dangerous situations involving hazardous materials.

After the initial training, we also offer an 8-hour annual refresher course to help workers stay up to date with OSHA’s requirements and keep their skills sharp.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Safety Training

Everyone has a responsibility to ensure safety, whether they are an employee or in a leadership role. Our 30-hour OSHA Outreach Program is available for foremen, field supervisors, safety officers, and construction workers who want to deepen their understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace hazards. This course helps create a safer work environment for all roles on the job site.

This course covers the OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards in depth and focuses on real hazards found in construction environments. Once completed, participants receive a certification card that demonstrates their commitment to a safe workplace.

Hands-On Equipment Training for Forklifts, Telehandlers, and Excavators

There’s no substitute for hands-on experience when it comes to heavy equipment. Our training programs for forklifts, telehandlers, and excavators are built to provide both classroom instruction and practical training on actual job sites.

Each course is designed to ensure that operators know how to use equipment safely and effectively, whether they’re brand new to the job or renewing their qualifications.

Scaffolding Safety That Saves Lives

Scaffolding accidents remain a serious concern in the construction industry. That’s why we take our scaffolding safety course seriously. Students learn the right way to install, inspect, and take down various types of scaffolding, including supported, suspended, and aerial systems.

The course also dives into OSHA requirements and real-world scenarios to give workers the skills they need to prevent falls and keep their teams safe.
